Travelling between the Lake District, Northumberland, Scotland and North Norfolk, Maria’s Paintings are expressions of her emotive response to the natural world in all it’s forms. Maria spends time watching in each place and uses location sketches, studies and occasionally, a back up photograph to feed into the memory of the experience. She hopes to convey a sense of wonder, drama or serenity to the viewer.
